Lindsay Robertson:
Moody blues, earthy roots, and cheeky folk music. All songs inspired by rainy days, dusty small towns, the sparkle of city lights, and steamy secrets. Lindsay’s a Vancouver based musician. She recently released her second album Red Light Letters. This record brings to mind The Heart of Saturday Night-era Waits, Patsy Cline, Neko Case and indie darlings Hurray for the Riff Raff.
Gillian Moranz (aka Little Jill):
A song slinging balladeer influenced by the likes of Mary Gauthier, Townes Van Zandt, The Underbelly Report, and Leonard Cohen. The wisdom and insight of her songs blend seamlessly with her unique and original sounding voice and her dynamic stories showcase a folk sensibility with an undeniably contemporary twist. Regardless of the context, Moranz always strives to leave her audiences feeling as though they have witnessed something dynamic, compelling, thought-provoking, and profound.
Thalia Couture:
A folk songwriter based in Montreal, QC situated on unceded traditional lands of the Kanien’keha:ka (Mohawk) First Nations.
Haunting banjo & guitar ballads; melodies of love, heartache, ruin and growth.
Inspired by artists such as Gillian Welch, Mazzy Star and Brown Bird, Thalia Couture sings you into a sultry country sedation with an uplifting folk twist.
