Sarah Jane has developed an egalitarian teaching approach which focuses on leading songwriters to a deeper understanding of what makes songs great. In the class we will deconstruct songs into their functioning parts as well as discuss song form, imagery, developing melody, rhythm and more. We will be using writing exercises, deep listening and song feedback, so please bring a notebook and pen, a guitar or other instrument to accompany yourself as well as several copies of printed song lyrics.
We will be keeping the class size small, so reserve your spot soon.
