While learning about culinary and cultural facts, you will be demonstrated a main dish typically crafted in that region. You will then sit in the restaurant room and enjoy this dish with a glass of wine.
Today, we will take you to East “Terroir” and demonstrate some of its rich, rural and traditional recipes of Pâtés. The recipes demonstrated:
- Chicken Liver Mousse: The easiest pate you can make for any occasion!
- “Terrine Campagnard”. A rich meat pâté, delicious served for appetizer with bread and pickles. We will also cover how to preserve this pâté to make it shelf-stable.
- Pâté en Croûte: the richness of a warm porc and poultry pâté cooked in puff pastry! Delicious party dish!
After demonstration, you will enjoy the “Pâté en Croûte” with a green salad and a glass of wine. You will take sample size of the 2 other recipes home!
You will be served a glass of wine during the class, paired for the food, and a welcome snack (additional wine available for purchase). Take home printed recipes.
Hope to see you there!
