We will be tanning with the alum taw method, an ancient and versatile technology with modern utility. Along the way we will learn the history of hide tanning, variable types and methods, and explore the cultural and modern contexts of this craft.
Laurica Farm is our lovely host in the Fraser Valley. They will be providing hot meals and beverages each day of the class, at no extra charge.
