What do we do?
Our intention is to provide a space for Indigenous youth ages 20-25 living in BC, to come together and talk about the ways they are engaging in activism within their communities. This is a safe place where youth could connect and talk about things like media and filmmaking, build practical skills like public speaking as well as provide a space for more difficult conversations on topics such as racism and colonization.
Participant’s accommodation, travel and certain meals will be covered. Available for youth residents of BC only.
We hope to assemble a group of some the raddest Indigenous youth around to create relationships with each other, and join forces in solidarity with all the work that is happening to decolonize all of the things!
Cuystwi looks to provide equal treatment and care to everyone, regardless of people’s gender, gender identity, religion or belief, or sexual orientation.
Due to the nature of the resort, accessibility is limited. The resort has gravel paths between buildings, and the accommodations do not have an elevator.
