Bios:
Dr. Brian Bressler is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine, in the Division of Gastroenterology at the University of British Columbia’s Department of Medicine. Dr. Bressler is the Director of the Advanced IBD training program at the University of British Columbia. He has recently co-chaired the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Medical Management of Nonhospitalized Ulcerative Colitis. Honours include the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology (CAG) Young Educator Award (2015), Top Reviewers of 2010 and 2015 for Gastroenterology and Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
Dr Eric Cadesky is a full-service family doctor in Vancouver. He is the President-Elect of Doctors of BC, a Clinical Associate Professor at UBC, and recently stepped down after almost a decade as the medical coordinator of the Louis Brier Home & Hospital.
Dr. Jennifer Melamed is Board Certified in Addiction Medicine by the American Board of Addiction Medicine. She is co-owner of the Alliance Clinic, a comprehensive addiction services clinic in Surrey. In 2014 , she founded Precision Medical Monitoring Ltd. to assess and monitor occupational health clients with addiction disorders in safety sensitive positions.
