Show starts at 8:15pm
Drawing on stunning visuals from space and ambient and atmospheric musical elements, Plasteroid’s concerts are a fully immersive experience. Plasteroid released their first album, self-titled (2017), last year. Instead of releasing a CD or Vinyl LP, Plasteroid released the entire album as a comic book, illustrated by Brock Mac.
Skim Milk is the solo project of clarinetist/producer Sam Davidson (Brasstronaut). Often funky and at other times ethereal, Skim Milk is rooted in a love of exploring the music of the past and reconstructing it with modern tools and aesthetics. In Skim Milk, Davidson digs deep through music's history pulling up obscure samples and transforming them into something entirely personal. He has released three albums: Self-titled (2014), Ghosts of Jazz (2015) and Fingerprints (2017). More at www.skimmilk.ca.
