Oxana Baydina (born in Russia, living in Surrey, BC) works mostly in very unique technique – painting on glass with a huge variety of material use: from glass paints, gels, pastes, additives, to gems, pearls and other beautiful things bringing a plain glass into life.
Iryna Kharina (born in Ukraine, living in Burnaby, BC) usually is using oil for her creations. Inspired by every-day’s life beauty, she chose realistic still lives and landscapes as subjects to paint. Under influence of Canadian Art traditions, started as traditional realist, Iryna modified her technique and color style.
Elvira Kravenkova (born in Russia, living in Port Moody, BC) mostly depicts everyday life and people around her in impressionistic realism, her always preferred style.
Elena Nahum Leroy (born in Russia, living in Surrey, BC) loves to experiment with different mediums in oil, like varnishes, solvents and different oils, that turns even ordinary still life into something special. Started as a realist, she’s also exploring other styles, such as surrealism, impressionism and expressionism, creating her own world full of colours, love and energy.
Olga Osnach (born in Ukraine, living in Langley, BC) is a brilliant watercolour artist and her breathing flowers attract everyone’s attention. She also works with polymer clay, creating a world of art dolls, where each character has a story to tell.
Lota Slobodyan (born in Ukraine, living in Vancouver, BC) chose acrylic as her medium and lovely creatures as a subject. Her color choice changes our common perception of very ordinary animals. Her works are full of energy, victorious desire to live, striving act and moving ahead.
Kira Sokolovskaia (born in Russia, living in Burnaby, BC) is a pastel drawing artist, whose focus is nature and still lives. Her drawings are full of light, life and colours.
Irena Shklover(born in Russia, living in White Rock, BC) invented whimsicalism, a new international art movement, in 2003. According to her, whimsicalism is a colourful optimism and unpredictable fantasy with no hidden agenda. Juggling colours, light, air and shadows, she is mysteriously transforming her works into a spiritual essence of the Universe, a representation of Goodness and Love.
