feminist-themed drinks, and music by Too Attached.
Too Attached is two siblings: VIVEK SHRAYA and Shamik Bilgi. The band grew out of their childhood history of singing Hindu devotional songs together in Edmonton, obsessing over pop and R&B as teenagers, and informal collaborations throughout their individual decade-long artistic careers. They toured their first EP (Bronze, 2015) across Canada while opening for Tegan and Sara, and their new album, Angry, will be released on February 1, 2018.
Growing Room takes place on the traditional, unceded, and ancestral territory of the Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh, and Squamish peoples.
Growing Room is made possible thanks to support from our major sponsors, the BC Arts Council, the City of Vancouver, the Access Copyright Foundation, School Creative, and The Georgia Straight. For a full list of sponsors, please visit roommagazine.com/festival.
