When Veta Louise Simmons tries to get her brother Elwood P. Dowd committed the tables are suddenly turned and they grab her instead. A merry romp occurs as the doctors search the town for the illusive Elwood and his friend, the 6' foot Pooka rabbit, Harvey.
First produced in 1943, Harvey became a classic film starring James Stewart as Elwood.
Bernard Cuffling stars as Elwood P. Dowd in this fully staged reading of Harvey. Anna Hagan directs and Glenn MacDonald design the sets.
