Winner of the Vancouver Mayor's Emerging Artist Award for Film and New Media in 2017, Hot Shot Shorts 2016, and Crazy8s 2018, Anaïsa Visser's short-form film scripts and productions testify to the creative entanglement of early career talent and a determined attention to professional process.
To celebrate National Canadian Film Day, Cineworks has invited Anaïsa to screen a selection of her films in the context of a talk in which she will provide an intimate insight into the development of her working process as a Screenwriter, and how it shapes and is informed by her work as a Director and Producer. This screening and talk will be useful for anyone engaged in short-form filmmaking, offering valuable insight into the challenges and rewards of building and fine-tuning an effective writing process.

She graduated in 2013 with a BFA in Film, Video and Integrated Media.
