Vancouver Story Slam is Canada's longest-running live monthly storytelling competition. New participants are always welcome; profits from the monthly show go to the VSS annual writing scholarship. Produced by Susan Cormier and hosted by Bryant Ross.
This show features a mix of Story Slam tellers from the past year, as well as storytellers who are new to the Story Slam stage.

Story Slam will be followed by a late night Verses edition of another favourite community show, Mashed Poetics, from 9:30 - midnight.

You’ll note on arrival a set of 10 railed stairs leading into the Hall. The wheelchair accessible entrance is around back. For this event there will be someone posted at the back door throughout the event.
