On behalf of the Afghan Community Volunteers (ACV) we coordinately invite you and your family to the very first Eid Ul-Fitr Festival 2018, which will be held on Sunday, June 17th 2018 and inshaAllah will be the 3rd day of Eid

The purpose of this event is having our family and friends come together to celebration the joyous occasion of Eid Ul-Fitr. And for the very first time, we are delighted to provide a unique opportunity for our children and families to experience the true sense of what it means to celebrate Eid. We wanted to ensure that this event has activities for everyone, especially the children! Therefore, we are centralizing our attention mainly towards the children and making sure they have a very memorable Eid.
As this event is intended to make every child look forward to and to get excited about our upcoming religious holiday, we decided that we'd like to go above and beyond to make this event is as grand and special as possible. As such, please note that tickets will only be sold in advanced as a pre-sale and there will not be any tickets sold a few nights before or at the door the night of the event. The reason being that we will be creating specialized goodie bags for each child with their names on it, according to the each child's age and gender. Hence the cost of the tickets, which will be used towards purchasing gifts for every child above the age of 5. Children under 5 will receive edible treats if their parents allow.
Seeing as Father’s day falls on the same day as our Eid Festival; we have the pleasure of honoring our wonderful and hardworking fathers within our community at our event. We also have some fun activities, group photo event and a cake cutting ceremony in order to ensure that we are celebrating Father’s Day as well!
Join us for an evening filled with of games, amazing prizes, awards, photo booths, arts and crafts, face-painting and henna booths and so much more actives for everyone to enjoy. Stay tuned for upcoming news and detailed information about the event and prizes!!!
