The theme of TEDxWhite Rock is Defying Expectations. This was born from our belief that human achievement is not limited by expectations, but attained in spite of them. We expect presentations will reflect a wide variety of ideas from many areas of our human experience.
Attendees will include community and business leaders, students, citizens and change-makers from the White Rock community and beyond. TEDxWhite Rock is bringing together open-minded, creative and forward-thinking men and women representing all facets of life including business people, educators, artists, homemakers, activists, doctors, lawyers, students, futurists, and every person that is interested in broadening his or her mind by participating in this event and who are dedicated to Defying Expectations.
But the audience for the talks is much bigger than that. All talks will be live streamed on the day of the event to hundreds more and each talk will be posted to the official TEDx YouTube channel.
