Join in on the Thanksgiving tradition and come celebrate BC’s proud berry history at the 22nd annual Fort Langley Cranberry Festival
Date/Time: Oct 6 2018, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Langley, Fort Langley National Historic Site | Event calendar
The festival starts at 10 am (the pancake breakfast starts at 8) and continues right through the day with activities for the whole family. There are contests, live music, cooking demos, a fashion show and much more!
One of the highlights of the Cranberry Festival is the marvellous selection of products from the 70+ market vendors whether you are looking for jewelry, specialty candy, organic coffee or hand-made crafts. The vendors are so talented and informative – a walk around the Market Place is a delightful adventure!
Celebrate cranberries at Fort Langley National Historic Site while learning the history of local uses of native cranberries by Indigenous people. Did you know the Hudson’s Bay Company exported cranberries to California during the gold rush? Put on rubber boots and jump into the popular cranberry stomp, as well as other farm-related games. Stroll over to the wonderful Cranberry Festival market in the village. Note, the village festival ends at 4 pm, but our site is open until 5 pm.
