This line-up (along with pianist Dan Reynolds) performed to great acclaim this summer at Jazz Evensong, Brentwood Presbyterian Church.
Adele M. Wilding was the Winner of the inaugural BWA Nina Simone Award in London, UK, and has performed throughout the UK and throughout Western Canada. She has recorded four commercial CDs, including an interpretation of Bruce Cockburn's 'Shepherds' with the Dan Reynolds Trio. Past performances include three summer tours across the Prairies, guest appearances with the Medicine Hat Concert Band Society and the Medicine Hat College Community Orchestra, and annual fringe appearances in the Medicine Hat Jazz Festival. In Vancouver, she was Creative Director and Diva in the ‘Dixon Divas Benefit Concert 2017’, producer/performer/co-arranger of the Canada 150 funded ‘Celebration of Canadian Singer-Songwriters’, and Guest Vocalist with the Miles Black Trio for the Canada 150 ‘Tribute to Oscar Peterson’, all of which took place at The Sanctuary in Brentwood, Burnaby, BC.
Today's show marks the end of the 2018 Caribbean & Blue Tour (The postponed Calgary show is being rescheduled, along with a possible show in Edmonton).
