We are connecting this story to that of Tayybeh, the catering and food truck business company in Vancouver that is run by Syrian refugee women.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Nihal Elwan, Founder of Tayybeh; Yildiz Atasoy, Professor of Sociology at SFU; Rasha Youssef, ISSofBC Women Program; Mahi Khalaf, Immigrant Services Society of BC Settlement Program; Amal Ghazal, Director, CCMS (Moderator).
Panel discussion will be followed by a ticketed reception catered by Tayybeh.
