How does it work? A group of artists are placed into multiple teams where they will blend their brushstrokes to compete for the Golden Brush title.
Then the brush-to-brush action heats up as each team of artists’ unique painting styles splatter onto the canvas. The creativity, then, unfolds into an impromptu gallery to be viewed and judged by the guests in attendance.

DJ K-Rec aka Kent Stephany is a hiphop artist and producer based in Vancouver, Canada. Prior to working independently, K-Rec had a record deal with Nettwerk Music Group where he worked with Canadian bands Delerium and Front Line Assembly while producing his solo album Disque Jockey. K-Rec was nominated for two MuchMusic video awards in 2001 and had the privilege of performing on MuchMusic and Citytv's Electric Circus.

Barbara Beam
Barbara’s love of broadcasting began at a young age while reading the morning announcements in high school, leading her to a career in Radio and Television. After graduating with a diploma in Broadcast Communications from BCIT in 1999, she got her start with the industry in Terrace, B.C., before moving back to Vancouver in 2002 to help launch the Beat 94.5 (now Virgin 94.5). In 2009 she made the move to Virgin Radio (now Z95.3), and currently Barbara can be heard mid-days on 93.7 JRFM in Vancouver and filling in on the occasional evenings 7pm-midnight in Calgary on Wild 95.3FM.
