2019 The Show, presented by Tamoda Apparel Inc., highlights the work of Fashion Design and Technology students who have come to KPU from across the province and beyond. 2019 The Show will present multiple shows at the newly opened Wilson School of Design building in Richmond to hundreds of guests including industry, students and the local community on April 18th, 2019.

Please note: All shows are approximately 60 minutes in length, and each show presented is the same.

Doors open 30 minutes before each show, please arrive at least 15 minutes before each show to secure your seat. Please note there are two ticket tiers as listed below:

Early Bird: $20 plus fees and taxes= $23.34. Early bird is available only for the first month of ticket sales; February 1st-February 28th.
General Admission: $25 plus fees and taxes =$28.92. General Admission is available from March 1st-April 18th.

FAQs

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
There is no age requirement for this event.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Pay parking is available on the campus (inside the North entrance of our building, in the covered parkade or outside parking lot for $5 a day), and we are easily accessible by transit (Lansdowne Canada Line station is 5 minutes away, and there are bus stops located directly outside the building and on neighbouring streets.) Parking at Lansdowne Mall may result in towing. For location please see map below.

What if I arrive late?
Due to our tight schedule and number of attendees, any available seats will be filled.

I am travelling with a High School group, is there a group discount?
Since we are now able to host The Show in our new space, we are happy to release tickets for all at a low price, however this price is the same for individuals, groups, children and seniors. Please see our message below for high school teachers.

I would like a tour of the new Wilson School of Design, can I do that during The Show?

We are extremely happy to show off our new digs! Student-directed tours will be given 30 minutes after each showtime. If you are travelling with a large group, please make sure to contact us at fashiondesign@kpu.ca beforehand so we can arrange space for you.

What's the refund policy?
There are no refunds or exchanges on any ticket purchases, however, your ticket may be given to another party should you not be able to attend.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
All fees are final, however if you are not able to attend after purchasing a ticket, you may give this to a friend to go in your place. Whoever presents the printed ticket at the door will be allowed entry (only 1 per ticket, so please keep your ticket info secure!)

*Note for High School Teachers: We are looking forward to hosting your school! Please purchase the required number of tickets for your students only. Once you have completed your booking, please email: fashiondesign@kpu.ca to confirm your show time, your school name and the name/email of the teacher(s) who will be accompanying your students so we can include them on our guest list. Please also indicate if you are interested in a tour of the building either before or after your show time and we will follow up to confirm your tour booking.
