Eight young singers selected during nationwide auditions will perform on the Queen Elizabeth Theatre stage in front of a jury chaired by Music Director Emeritus, Jonathan Darlington. While the jury deliberates, the audience will enjoy a short performance from one of Canada’s leading opera sensations, Erin Wall.

GALA DINNER
Following the competition, gala dinner guests will take their seats on the Queen Elizabeth Theatre stage, surrounded by the sets for Gounod’s Faust for an unforgettable gala dinner prepared and presented by our Official Hospitality Partner Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver, with wines from Mission Hill Family Estate. Dessert will be a unique creation prepared by renowned pastry chef and judge of The Great Canadian Baking Show, Bruno Feldeisen and special guest 2018 winner, Andrei Godoroja. The evening features a live auction and special performance by artists from our Yulanda M. Faris Young Artists program.
