The popular Minoru Chapel Opera series is back this spring with Wednesday concerts on April 6, May 4 and June 1, 2016.
From Rossini to Verdi to Puccini to Menotti, City Opera Vancouver offers music that speaks to every aspect of the human experience. This concert will cover all bases from comedy to drama, revelation to fantasy and past to present. Three of Vancouver’s finest musical talents – soprano Chloé Hurst; baritone Samuel Chan and pianist Richard Epp – will perform pieces from a variety of favourite operas including Paglicacci and Magic Flute. City Opera Vancouver favourite, Tom Durrie, will serve as host.
