Formed in Los Angeles, California in 2016, Prettymuch is an American-Canadian boy band consisting of Brandon Arreaga, Edwin Honoret, Austin Porter, Nick Mara and Zion Kuwonu. The five band members had been pursuing solo careers before English talent mogul and Syco Music founder Simon Cowell, along with former label president Sonny Takhar, decided to bring them together as a group. The following year, the group's rendition of Charlie Puth's "Attention" and choreography tributes to Michael Jackson and Bruno Mars, among other videos, brought them attention on social media. The band's debut single, "Would You Mind", was released in July 2017 and reached number 40 on the Billboard 200. The band's debut EP, PRETTYMUCH an EP, was released on April 19, 2018.
