Neuroethics Canada and Science World are pleased to present: Baba Brinkman’s Rap Guide to Consciousness
Brinkman, who grew up in Vancouver and is now an award-winning musician, scholar, and theatre performer based in New York, takes audiences on a journey through the ancient mind-body problem, and the amazing discoveries of modern psychology and neuroscience that might help unwind it. A journey of self-discovery that mixes mindfulness with rationalism and irreverent humour, Consciousness grapples with the inner workings of the psyche, the future of thinking machines, and the insights offered by psychedelics, embryos, and octopus minds.
Rated PG-13. Some mature themes and language.
