Joseph E. Pizzorno, Jr., ND has earned international respect through education, research, publishing, policy advancement, and solution-driven innovation, and also for his visionary leadership integrating science-based natural medicine into health care delivery models. In his 40-year career, he has shared with millions around the world the profound efficacy of natural medicine.
Marita Schauch, ND is the author of two books: Making Sense of Women’s Health and Collagen Myths & Misconceptions. She also co-authored The Adrenal Stress Connection and, more recently, Stress and the Disease Connection with Dr. Karen Jensen. In addition to her clinical practice, she lectures across North America educating people on positive lifestyle choices.
Kate Rhéaume, ND is an author, graduate, and former faculty member of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Kate lectures internationally on many topics related to health and wellness and is a frequent guest on radio and television across North America. She is the author of the best-selling book Vitamin K2 and the Calcium Paradox: How a Little-Known Vitamin Could Save Your Life.
Karen Jensen, ND received her degree in naturopathic medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She has appeared frequently on television and radio and has written extensively for health magazines. The author or co-author of seven books, the most recent titled Women’s Health Matters: The Influence of Gender on Disease, Dr. Jensen is now retired after 25 years in clinical practice, but continues to write about natural and safe choices for optimal wellness.
Gaetano Morello, ND is a published author and licensed naturopathic physician. Recently he has been appointed as a Clinician at the newly created Complex Chronic Disease Program located at BC Women’s Hospital in Vancouver. He is the first naturopathic doctor to hold such a position at a major North American hospital.
Michael Lyon, MD is a UBC faculty member and is a published researcher in the fields of nutrition, appetite regulation, dietary fibre, and blood sugar regulation. He is Board Certified in Obesity Medicine through the American Board of Obesity Medicine, and he completed a three-year family practice residency in 1988.
Stephanie Rubino, ND is a licensed naturopathic doctor with a practice that focuses on women’s health, perinatal care, pediatrics, stress, and digestive health. She has a special interest in educating the public and other health professionals about diet, supplementation, the integration of pharmacological and natural therapies, as well as the safe and effective use of complementary medicine.
Lara Pizzorno is a member of the American Medical Writers Association, keeping physicians and the public updated on longevity science by analyzing latest research and studies. She has over 25 years of experience in writing and is the editor of Longevity Medicine Review as well as Senior Medical Editor for SaluGenecists, Inc.
