At Science World, the goal is to share these ideas in new and interesting ways and show how art can sometimes be a better way to communicate a science concept than words alone
Date/Time: May 3 2019, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

Once upon a time, art and science were intrinsically connected. They rose out of the same ground, and created and defined cultures. Today, science and art are often thought of as being polar opposites. In fact, science parallels art in many ways—not just as a subject matter, but also as a source of inspiration.
Science and art are both are a means of investigation. Both involve ideas, theories, and hypotheses that are tested in places where mind and hand come together. Artists, like scientists, study. They use materials, people, culture, history, religion, and mythology. They learn to transform information into something else.
