Join MacLeod as she discusses her practice and the thinking behind Neighbours, her current solo exhibition at Canada House, London, UK. Centred on a sequence of framed watercolours used in 2018 as the basis for the artist’s public artwork presented across twenty transit shelters throughout the City of Vancouver, also included are other pieces related to public realm works such as Wood for the People (2002) and the sculptural maquette for The Birds (2010), her acclaimed commission at Milton Wong Plaza.
This event is to thank our treasured membership groups that support exhibitions and public programming at the Contemporary Art Gallery, with the evening including pre and post-receptions along with opportunities to learn more about future exhibitions and events (and even squeeze in a bit of shopping).
