The internationally acclaimed Brad Turner Trio has been a mainstay on the Vancouver jazz scene since its inception in 1997. Drawing from a large repertoire of original compositions and interpretations of standard tunes – this group is an exciting and highly interactive unit, exploring varied musical avenues, from free improvisation, to structured composition and groove based themes.
Between them, members of the band have worked with Joe Lovano, Kenny Werner, Gary Bartz, Ingrid Jensen, Bill Frisell, Kenny Wheeler, Cedar Walton, Joanne Brakeen, Renee Rosnes, and John Scofield, among others.
With Darren Radtke bass and Bernie Arai drums.
