The New York-based musician has worked with John Zorn, Tyshawn Sorey, and Mary Halvorson, and was named DownBeat Rising Star in 2017. A DownBeat Rising Star herself, German-born, Brooklyn-based tenor saxophonist Ingrid Laubrock (Tom Rainey, Anthony Braxton) channels new music influences into her “wildly inventive’ (JazzTimes) approach. A leading figure in Vancouver creative music, Dylan van der Schyff is a drummer of incomparable vision and sensitivity.
