One of the finest Cuban pianists of his generation, Pablo Cárdenas moved to Canada in 2010 and has wowed with his charismatic mix of jazz, fusion, and Cuban styles from traditional to contemporary. His trio featuring Afro-Cuban percussionist Israel (Toto) Berriel and bassist Peter Dowse are releasing brand new material at this Festival show.
