Are you interested in using art and creativity to explore and document the Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood? Would you like to work together with other community members to create a map of local landmarks, points of interest, and places that are important to you? Join Mount Pleasant Community Centre Artists-in-Residence Popcorn Galaxies for this fun and welcoming hands-on creative project! At this workshop we will work together to explore and document each of our own unique perceptions and experiences of the local landscape, creating a map of the neighbourhood that will be exhibited to the public in the lobby of the Community Centre. Through personal cartography, story sharing, and neighbourhood exploration, this is a unique opportunity to connect with new people, share and discover the special details of Mount Pleasant, and engage in an exciting collaborative art project!

Everyone is welcome! No experience necessary.
All ages; children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
All supplies will be provided.
