Dancing in the age of the anthropocene - part insect, part object, part human, part touch.
We are by which we are moved in return seeks to acknowledge the matrix of unseen forces, organic and inorganic, that make us and move us.
Influenced by radical new inquiries emerging in the fields of science, feminism and cultural theory that consider what it means to be a human subject in the age of the anthropocene - the geological period of human impact. We are by which we are moved in return dares to asks the timely question: Can we re vision ourselves and our relationships to the material world before its too late?
We are by which we are moved in return has been developed with long time MACHiNENOiSY collaborator, sound artist, Chris Kelly and set designer, Paula Viitanen
