The Jikiden Reiki Kenkyukai (Institute) was founded in Kyoto in 1999 by Tadao Yamaguchi and his mother Chiyoko Yamaguchi.
Mrs. Yamaguchi started Reiki training with Mr. Hayashi in 1938 and
she practiced it daily for 65 years until she passed away in 2003.
Jikiden Reiki was first introduced by her son Tadao Yamaguchi in Vancouver in 2005 and it has been growing.
At this Congress, we are welcoming the special speakers to share their personal experience of Chiyoko Yamaguchi and also we will learn more about the Japanese culture and how it is reflected in Reiki teaching.
