This concert is led by Shahin Najafi (Iran/EU). Shahin is an accomplished musician and song writer who has created a beautiful new genre of music which is an integrated style of Jazz, blues and a dash of rap spiced up with native Gilaki (from Gilan Province/Iran), Arabic and Persian lyrics. A documentary has been made about Shahin, When God Sleeps, which has received several awards. Featured artists in this concert are Itamar Erez (Israel/Canada), Meriem Ben Amor (Tunisia/Canada) and Habib Meftah (Iran/EU). This will be a unique fusion music concert.
