The evening begins at 7pm with a welcome reception in the garden - friends and neighbours will CELEBRATE over award-winning wine and delicious appetizers. At 8:30pm, theatre troupe THE SECOND CITY take the stage for a hilarious sketch comedy & improv set. After the show, guests are invited to stay for a dessert reception and mingle in the main lobby with performers.

Featuring Canada’s next generation of comedic talent, The Best of The Second City is an ever-changing selection of the favourite and funniest sketches from the past fifty years, as well as the improvisation for which Second City is most famous.

The annual fundraising gala has become the premier celebration for the Kay Meek Centre as the home of live theatre, music, dance plus awarding winning films in West Vancouver. Funds raiser help through the gala support all areas of operations including youth learning and education, community outreach and audience development plus providing professional services to the more than 60 community groups who perform at Kay Meek Centre each year.
