Every dollar raised, step taken, lap completed and baton passed brings us one step closer to creating a world where no one fears cancer. We celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease which affects 2 in 5 Canadians. Relay For Life is more than just a fundraiser; it is life-affirming, community experience and a unified commitment to save more lives.
The Coquitlam Relay For Life is proud to celebrate 25 years as part of the community, united in the fight against cancer. In 2015, the relay included 725 participants who raised in excess of $290,000 to advance cancer research and support people living with cancer with a commitment to making the largest impact on our community’s health and wellness.
The relay is a 12 hour running/walking event for teams of family members, friends and co-workers who use the event to raise money, awareness and support for those on a cancer journey. Any age or fitness level is welcome. Whether you want to walk 5 km or 15 km, you will be supporting everyone in your life who has been affected by cancer.
