Though we see both of their stories, in the first half we’re never sure what truly happened. Although we finally see what really happened, who is right and who is wrong is not clear cut. At one point Diane says, “Think of Sexual Relationship Education as a war zone and you’re the journalist. Give the facts, show the photos, but don’t get too close unless you want your head blown off.”
