Whether it’s with a group of ghoulfriends getting together for a night out, or a romantic date, we dare you to laugh this October with its spirited line-up of Halloween-themed shows October 22-31. Aptly named Spooktober; this limited-run seasonal celebration of all things eerie features three different shows and a very special event you’ll be dying to attend.
Cult Fiction – Everyone Laugh Together is framed as a documentary. Hosted by an investigative journalist; the players utilize audience suggestions to spin a spell-binding tale behind the cult including the core cult belief and some of its unique traits – the more ridiculous the suggestions, the more inventive the action and louder the laughter.
During the 10 days of Spooktober, the Improv Centre is transformed with haunting décor into an eerie sepulchre worthy of any Demon or night-loving Vampire. You’ll also find spooktacular specials on potions and poisons at VTS’ Neil Macrae Bar and Lounge. This is one instance where you’ll want to drink the Killer Kool-Aid or indulge in a Creepy Kitty.
NOTE: This show is suitable for children aged 8 and over. We cannot accommodate younger children, toddlers or infants. Any show may contain mature content and language, parental discretion is advised.
"...my group and I had attended the Halloween show on Saturday... We all had a fantastic time! I knew to expect a good time, but my expectations were far exceeded. Per usual, the show went off without a hitch and was a great form of entertainment for a lot of the improv virgins I brought along with me. " - Brodi, Vancouver
