Named one of the top 4 night markets in the world by Travel & Leisure, the International Summer Night Market (also called Panda Market) was created in 2008 and is known as Richmond’s first night market. “One of the Top 4 Night Markets in the World”
Every spring and summer, from May until September, it is the popular destination for all ages, especially with no entrance fee.
Market-goers can expect to taste dishes from around the globe with the multitude of food and beverage booths on display, as well as shop for unique knick knacks, exclusive local merchandise, and enjoy diverse entertainment every night.
Since its inception, the original summer night market has hosted more than 5 million plus visitors to-date.
Formally known as the International Summer Night Market, the outdoor Panda Market will once again bring with it an array of food and retail vendors selling all kinds of street fare and trinkets.
With a smorgasbord of international cuisine and a range of new exciting foods, visitors to the annual event (which is reminiscent of markets found in Asian cities like Hong Kong and Taipei) are guaranteed an evening of great eating. Look for special events like dance competitions, go-kart racing, an auto show, an eating contest, a travelling exhibition, and more.
Late nighters take note, Panda Market has extended its hours, and on Fridays and Saturdays it will stay open until midnight.
