For this second instalment of VNM's PARALLELS series we welcome Okkyung Lee, a South Korean New cellist and improviser currently based in New York. Lee will collaborate with local electronic musicians to create a unique, site specific performance piece. Lee's broad array of inspirations — that include noise, improvisation, jazz, western classical, and the traditional and popular music of her homeland, South Korea — forge her highly distinctive musical approach. .
