There’s no better way to learn than with help from the greats – and it’s even more fun with beautiful music. The Kessler Academy 2020 features a musician-led string orchestra mentorship program with the Microcosmos Quartet, in cooperation with Music on Main.
This intergenerational project is dedicated to keeping classical music alive in the 21st century. After five days of intensive rehearsal, these exciting young performers will take the stage at the intimate Pyatt Hall to perform great 20th– and 21st-century works for string orchestra.
The Kessler Academy is named after Vancouver’s legendary centenarian Mrs. Susan Kessler.
