Remembrance Day, November 11th, is a day to remember the courage, service and sacrifice of thousands of Canadians, and to honour them by never forgetting them
Date/Time: Nov 11 2019, 10:45 am to 12:00 am
Langley, Douglas Park Cenotaph
Every year, at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, we gather in memorial parks, community halls, workplaces, schools and homes to stand in honour of all who have fallen.
Together, we observe a moment of silence to mark the sacrifice of the many who have fallen in the service of their country, and to acknowledge the courage of those who still serve.
Join other members of your community to remember the men and women who served and sacrificed for our country.
Everyone is welcome to join the Remembrance Day Ceremony at the Douglas Park Cenotaph on Sunday November 11 to honour and commemorate the sacrifices made by members of the Armed Forces and civilians in the times of war. Please arrive prior to 10:45am.
