16th Annual Vancouver Santa Claus Parade

More than 300,000 spectators will be entertained by this annual holiday kick-off. Produced by the Vancouver Santa Claus Parade Society, the televised parade is the Lower Mainland’s biggest winter event. The December chill in the air is rarely felt at the parade, as it is well-known for its festive, magical and feel-good atmosphere.

Breakfast with Santa at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver
(8:30am – 10:30am)

Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, the castle in the city, is where important events have been taking place since 1939. A certified heritage building, the hotel has been a landmark in the city and has hosted countless significant events and fond memories. Bring the family, continue the tradition, and celebrate Christmas at the castle! Join us for a delicious breakfast buffet and exclusive meet & greet with Santa before the TELUS presents the Vancouver Santa Claus Parade! Filled with wonder and excitement, children will have an opportunity to sit with Santa and confide their Christmas wish list before he presides over the festive parade at noon. The buffet will include a chef-attended pancake and waffle station, a hot chocolate station, and a decorate-your-own gingerbread cookie station.

Our charitable partners the CKNW Kids’ Fund and the Greater Vancouver Food Bank will also be onsite collecting donations!

Parade: 12:00pm – approx. 1:30pm
The parade will start at West Georgia and Broughton (at 12:00 pm), travel east along West Georgia, turn south on Howe and finish at Howe and Davie.

TELUS Photos with Santa: 2:00pm-4:00pm
In addition to Photos with Santa, there will be the TELUS Holiday Workshop.
Join us in the TELUS Garden Laneway for holiday music, dancing, holiday stories, hot chocolate & snacks, giveaways and more!
