The holiday season truly begins with Songs in the Snow: A Vintage Christmas in Steveston.
For the first three Saturdays in December – the 7th, 14th, and 21st – Steveston Museum’s Town square park will be alive with song. From 4:00pm to 6:00pm, you can hear local artists, school groups, and community singers bring some Christmas cheer to your winters.
While you listen, you can also enjoy free refreshments, learn how to create vintage-style Christmas crafts at one of our crafting tables, and remember the night forever by taking a photo at our selfie station or having a caricature done. Students from Richmond Secondary School's Culinary Arts program will also be on site selling their popular baked goods.
This year, Songs in the Snow will be supporting Turning Point, Wowk students' fundraising efforts, and Ava's Angels' fundraising efforts. Donations are graciously accepted.
Songs in the Snow is presented by the Steveston Historical Society, along with Richmond Arts Coalition and Steveston Museum & Visitor Centre. We would like to thank our sponsors, the Province of British Columbia, G&F Financial, and Telus.
