The show was originally developed in Calgary during a month long residency with Toronto based pianist and composer Noah Franche-Nolan as a part of Decidedly Jazz Danceworks Creative Residency Program. The Vancouver show will feature a quartet led by Bonnie Northgraves (trumpet) featuring Dean Thiessen (piano), Wynston Minckler (bass) and drummer (TBA). The show will also feature young up and coming tap artists Jeffrey Dawson, Elise McGrenera, and Bryn Kinders. With associate direction by Shay Kuebler (Radical System Art) and additional choreography by NYC’s Lisa La Touche, On Foot will leave you energized and inspired.
