The Dharma Drum Vancouver Center (DDVC) is pleased to co-sponsor “A Local Workshop on a Global Network” with the UBC Buddhist Studies Forum. The keynote speeches, by Dr. T. H. Barrett of the University of London and Dr. Masahiro Shimoda of the University of Tokyo, are on October 4. Speeches are followed by a series of presentations and panel discussions on October 5 by several prominent scholars. The workshop is open to the academic community and general public.
