Walks are drop-in, rain or shine. Walks may be canceled in high winds or extreme weather conditions.
Stay comfortable by wearing appropriate clothing for mixed weather conditions. Wear sturdy footwear, layered clothing, and sun or rain protection. Bring a pair of binoculars and a field guide, if you have them. Binoculars are available to borrow.
Ideal for beginner to intermediate birders of all ages.
Enjoy views of the Nicomekl River while looking for shorebirds and other winter residents. Explore a variety of habitats as you walk through forest, meadow, and fresh- and saltwater marsh. The parking lot entrance is on the north side of Crescent Road, west of 136 Street.
