285 talented young musicians in the senior, intermediate, junior and debut orchestras will present an afternoon performance of prominent orchestral selections, finishing with Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis for 225 strings and a massed orchestra performance of Tchaikovsky’s renowned 1812 Overture under the honoured direction of guest conductor Maestro Jonathan Girard.
