The AIBC has been regulating the profession of architecture in B.C. since 1920. As we reflect upon the past ten decades of regulation, we see consistency, stability, and constancy – particularly in the commitment to regulate the profession in the public interest.
As we embark upon the next 100 years, the architectural profession in B.C. is poised to form and be formed by the local, national and global environment. Now more than ever, it is critical to keep current with technological and industrial innovation and be attentive to professional and societal expectations.
About Conference
The largest convergence of its kind in British Columbia, which runs over three days, the AIBC Conference offers stimulating keynotes, three tracks of engaging sessions, workshops, and evening gatherings, all hosted at British Columbia’s flagship convention centre—Vancouver Convention Centre West.
The 101st AIBC Annual Meeting will be held on the first day of conference, May 4, 2020.
