Canada SCORES hosts our second Annual Red Carpet Poetry Slam. This premier event will include more than 150 guests, poetry enthusiasts, community leaders, and even a few local celebrities

Guests will enjoy a pre-show reception with light refreshments and a cash bar followed by a brilliant Poetry SLAM performance.
The Red Carpet SLAM will showcase, highlight and celebrate select Poet-Athletes from the Burnaby, Surrey and New Westminster communities, reciting their original poems, chosen based on their performances at their recent Community Poetry Slams and their overall commitment in the Canada SCORES program. This event will work to raise awareness and funds which will allow Canada SCORES to continue offering complimentary after-school programming for vulnerable and underserved students.
