Boogaloo Academy’s co-owners Anita Perel-Panar and Jheric Hizon discovered that they have the same philosophies and vision about collaborating, building community, networking, imparting meaningful messages and bringing up the next generation of artists. Anita and Jheric joined forces to create Vancouver’s Boogaloo Academy. Using the ever-changing music and dance styles of pop culture, Jheric and Anita maintain interest and create relevancy. All of the Boogaloo Academy programs, classes and workshops motivate students, increase self-esteem, build confidence and create community.
Now or Never Crew is a high-flying energetic hip-hop/breakdancing crew that has been captivating audiences for over 17 years. The crew consists of like-minded individuals who share the same goal – worldwide recognition! Having achieved two of the highest accolades – Battle Of The Year International and 2010 Winter Olympics where Now or Never Crew established its Vancouver Legacy. This incredible crew continues to contend with the top players in the street dance world today!
